Product Description

Thermal transfer printing offers world-class results for barcode and shipping information printing. In this method, a hot print head melts a wax ribbon onto the blank printing label. The result is a rugged, permanent print that is more than adequate for abrasive, demanding environments like shipping and mass storage. Ideal for shipping labels, barcodes, identification labels, price labels and tags. Smooth surface ensures superior print quality. Thermal transfer style labels require Printer Ribbons. Use with Zebra, Eltron, Fargo, Sato, NEC, Datamax and other thermal transfer printers. Can be used in a freezer if applied and kept at room temperature for 24 hrs prior to freezing. FDA compliant for indirect food contact. Thermal transfer printing is the most widely used method for bar code label printing. A thermal print head is used to generate heat energy that in turn transfers the ink from a ribbon onto the label facestock, creating the required images.
